Ang Mga Kontemporaryong Isyu sa Pilipinas ay ang pinakahuling aklat ng KAMALAYSAYAN (mula sa Kamalayan sa Kasaysayan at Lipunan): Serye sa Araling Panlipunan na inihanda para sa Baitang 7 hanggang Baitang 10. Tumutugon ito sa mga pangangailangang kasanayan para sa asignaturang Araling Panlipunan alinsunod sa K-12 Basic Education Curriculum ng Kagawaran ng Edukasyon. Layunin ng asignaturang ito na maipamalas ng mga estudyante ang malalim na pag- unawa sa mga kontemporaryong isyu sa lipunang Pilipino na may kinalaman sa kapaligiran, ekonomiya, politika, karapatang pantao, edukasyon, at gawaing sibiko. Ang terminong “kontemporaryo” na kasingkahulugan ng salitang “pangkasalukuyan” ay siyang ginamit sa Curriculum Guideline ng Kagawaran ng Edukasyon.
