Ang seryeng BIYAYA NG FILIPINO para sa unang hangggang ikaanim na baiting ang tugon ng FNB Educational, Inc. sa pagtataguyod ng programang K-12 (enhanced basic Education Program) ng Department of Education (DepEd).
Ang mga aklat sa Una, Ikalawang Baitang ay nakapokus sa apat na makrong kasanayan sa Filipino tulad ng Pakikinig, Pagsasalita, Pagbasa at Paguslat.
Sa paglinang ng mga aralin ay binibigyang diin ang pagbasa ng iaba’t ibang anyo ng panitikan kaugnay ng mga komunikatibong gamit at kayarian ng wika.
This book, a meaningful learning tool, aims to develop competence in speaking, listening, reading, writing, and viewing. The skills are aligned with the competencies provided for in the K-to-12 Basic Education Program developed by the Department of Education. Every lesson begins with a reading selection, which may be any of the following literary types: story, folktale, verse, poem, essay, playlet, dialogue, mime, or even a comic strip.
This worktext has been designed to facilitate the integrated learning of the varied lessons in Music, Arts, Physical Education, and Health in each of the six elementary education levels. The learning resources in the different areas are aligned with the competencies for MAPEH as provided in the curriculum of the K to 12 Basic Education Program, developed by the Department of Education (DepEd).
In the light of the perceived values of the four interrelated fields, the learners are urged to participate actively in artistic and cultural performances, and demonstrate understanding and appreciation of the crucial roles played by Music, Arts, Physical Education, and Health in their overall development — physically, mentally, socially, emotionally, and even spiritually. In so doing, they will contribute much to strengthening their respective families, and eventually, to improving society as a whole.

patunay na ikaw ay mahalaga. Gamitin mo
ang mga ito upang ikaw ay higit na lumaking
masigla, mabuti, at kaaya-ayang anak, kapatid,
kamag-aral, kapuwa, at mamamayan ng ating
bansang Pilipinas.
